Roadmap from inception to present

2011-2014

The Beginning

Arkamaya started in 2011 under the name CV. Arkamaya Teknologi Digital. Our first office was located on Jl. Taman Hewan, Bandung, before moving to Kavling Batununggal, Buahbatu in 2013, and then to Jl. Scorpio, Turangga in 2014. Starting as a small startup, the company’s focus was primarily on projects for our first client, PT. Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indonesia.

With only a few team members, we were still finding an efficient workflow. In 2013, we changed our name to PT. Arkamaya to meet the requirements for participating in tenders and projects for our clients.

2015-2018

Bootstrapping

We moved to a slightly larger office in Batununggal Mulia, Buahbatu. Here, Arkamaya began organizing its project structure, introducing project managers and clear task divisions.

The day-to-day development projects kept us very busy, with C-Level executives heavily involved in execution. During this period, we encountered some changes in team composition, which taught management valuable lessons about adaptability and prioritization. While our workflow showed slight improvement, there was still room for significant enhancement.

2019-2021

Lesson Learned

The Pandemic Challenges

We moved again to a larger office on Jl. Guntursari Wetan, gaining better visibility and presence in the area. During this time, we faced the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic and had to accommodate new working systems.

At the end of 2021, the company encountered notable challenges that highlighted the need for improved management and organization. This experience encouraged C-Level executives to enhance delegation practices and concentrate on advancing the company’s strategic goals..

2022-2023

Explore & Revive

We moved to Caringin, precisely to Pasadena Residence, a bit further from the center of Bandung. Here, we engaged in extensive learning, exploration, and training to improve the company. C-Level executives shifted from implementation roles to strategic and managerial roles. We began generating leaders and made major changes in the organizational structure.

When the organizational structure was improved, it created a solid foundation and clear company regulations. With a well-defined vision and mission, we were able to revive and significantly improve the company’s performance.

2024-Present

Continuous Exploration

The Pre-Scaleup Stages

As we approach 2024, PT Arkamaya intends to continue its gradual growth and scale its operations. The company plans to leverage new technologies to enhance its service offerings and provide better solutions to its clients. We are expanding our team capacity to meet customer needs and our office is moving to the Kujangsari area, Buahbatu.

We recognize the need to continuously learn and improve to become a better company, and to delight our clients in line with our vision to be the most valuable company.

The company is persistently exploring new avenues for growth and development. We are continuously learning and refining our strategies to ensure we are well-prepared for the scaling phase. This phase involves experimenting with innovative solutions, strengthening our internal processes, and investing in the skills and knowledge needed to execute a successful scaleup in the near future.
